第29届ACM SIGSPATIAL 2021国际会议

2020年11月6日，第28届ACM SIGSPATIAL 2020国际会议以在线形式在美国西雅图落下帷幕。会议宣布下届第29届ACM SIGSPATIAL 2021国际会议将于2021年11月2-5日在中国北京举办。

ACM SIGSPATIAL会议被公认为空间数据管理和GIS领域多学科交叉的顶级学术会议。会议在北美已成功举办了二十八届（1993-2020年），旨在聚集空间数据和地理信息领域的研究人员、开发人员、用户和从业者，促进 GIS全方位的跨学科讨论和研究。ACM SIGSPATIAL 2021将是本会议历史上首次在北美以外地区举办，尤其令人期待！

ACM SIGSPATIAL 2021由中国人民大学孟小峰、美国石溪大学汪富生教授，美国弗吉尼亚理工大学吕昌田教授担任大会主席，美国北德州大学黄艳、明尼苏达大学Shashi Shekhar、微软亚洲研究中心谢幸担任程序委员会主席。会议主题涵盖了空间智能、空间大数据、GIS、普适计算、空间搜索、空间系统等研究方向，具有重要的学术价值与应用价值，欢迎相关领域的学者和企业积极投递论文。

此次会议还将包括主会场，专题讨论，和由滴滴赞助的两万五千美金的GIS Cup等在内的学术及周边活动。会议亮点纷呈，既聚焦Artificial Intelligence、Big Spatial Data Management等主题，也开展Industries panel、Grand Prize Competition、Open Geospatial Dataset等与工业密切相关的活动，同时对Next Generation GIS等方面进行前瞻性研讨。

The ACM SIGSPATIAL International Conference on Advances in Geographic Information Systems 2021 (ACM SIGSPATIAL 2021), the twenty nineth edition, will be held in Beijing, China, November 2-5, 2021. It began as a series of symposia and workshops starting in 1993 with, the aim of bringing together researchers, developers, users, and practitioners in relation to novel systems based on geo- spatial data and knowledge, and fostering interdisciplinary discussions and research in all aspects of geographic information systems. The conference provides a forum for original research contributions covering all conceptual, design, and implementation aspects of geospatial data ranging from applications, user interfaces, and visualization to data storage and query processing and indexing. The conference is the premier annual event of the ACM Special Interest Group on Spatial Information (ACM SIGSPATIAL).
